Fee Transparency
HOW. WE. PRICE.
We pride ourselves on being transparent and having a simple fee structure. Our fees are fixed based on the expected time spent. Most business tax preparation and service fees will fit into the fees described below.
For individual returns those factors include but are not limited to – complexity on applicable forms and schedules, disorganization, or changes in availability.
For business returns those factors include but are not limited to – entity structure, number of owners, quality of accounting records, or other complex / non-recurring transactions. Additionally, for Business Returns, we categorize clients based on total revenue and assets being less than $250,000 (Category A) or greater than $250,000 (Category B).
We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on additional factors or changes in the scope of our engagement. AVID’s standard hourly billing rate per advisor is $200. Any changes to our hourly rate will be published to our existing customers at least 30 days prior to effect.
We aim to maintain historical tax preparation fees for returning clients, but may increase rates due to changes in your tax circumstances and economic market factors.
Our starting fee is $300 for a federal and single state tax return. Each additional form and state return have an individual costs starting at $100.
Our starting fee for Corporate, Partnership, and Non-Profit tax returns is $1,000 (Category A); or $2,500 (Category B). Additional fees may apply based on return complexity.
Our hourly rate applies when we assist individuals and businesses with Federal or State tax authority issues such as audits, collections, or disputes.
Full-service bookkeeping available starting from $500/month; pricing varies by accounts and transaction volume.
Full-service payroll starts at $40/month, plus $5/month per employee or contractor. This includes payroll tax filings.
