Marketing Internship (Remote)

AVID BUSINESS ADVISORS offers general business advisory services, on-demand financial consulting, and tax planning and preparation services to individuals and small businesses. The lead advisors Ita Adebayo and Zak Shah licensed CPAs based in Chicago, IL who graduated from the Illinois State College of Business.

We are looking for college students or recent graduates interested in gaining real world marketing experience to join our team this Fall. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to our marketing efforts, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising.
Develop and maintain marketing materials such as presentations, newsletters, and promotional items.
Support the management of social media accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement metrics.
Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance using analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing initiatives.
Support the implementation of SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovative approaches.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or recently graduated).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and basic knowledge of marketing channels and techniques.
Proficiency in using social media platforms and familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and a willingness to think outside the box to propose new ideas and solutions.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software and content management systems is a plus.
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
